Photographs on canvas gallery

Each canvas is printed using quality pigment inks, and is coated with a special varnish before being stretched over pine stretchers. This protects it and enables one to gently clean it with a damp cloth to remove dust and household grime.

Canvas particulary lends itself to use with landscapes and wildlife. There are a number of ways in which such work can be presented. currently the most popular methods are those that bypass the framing process. In otherwords the canvas is wrapped around the frame, stretched, and is hung on a wall as is.

Here also there are some choices
1/ Gallery wrap - where the image is continued around the sides of the frame to give a 3D effect.
2/ Museum wrap - where the full image uses only the face of the frame and the sides are blank.

Canvasses have become very popular over recent years, and you can now have a choice of the thickness of the wooden stretchers, and therefore the depth of the canvas.

The 18mm (.7 inch.) pine stretchers (Standard), and the 40mm (1.57 inch.) chunky pine stretchers. The latter are the ones that people seem to like the best however, if you intend to go the more traditional route of framing your canvas then the 18mm one is recommended.

I produce canvasses in three sizes, all of which are 40mm deep (1.57 inch).
a/ 12 inch x 12 inch (30cm x 30cm)
b/ 18 inch x 12 inch (45cm x 30cm)
c/ 24 inch x 12 inch (60cm x 30cm)
