This is a shot of the blossom of a cider apple tree. It caught my eye because it seems to project many different shades of the same colour, and is painted with light by the evening sun.

The fruit is a beautiful scarlet red apple that looks good enough to eat, but has a very sour taste if you try it. Perhaps the Norfolk equivalent of Eve’s apple!
