Heacham Poppy

In June/July each year the Norfolk countryside comes alive with fields of poppies. It is a joy to see.

I have become notorious for getting myself in a bit of a mess trying to take photographs of these wild flowers.

This particular shot was taken in a field at Heacham Norfolk. I shot it whilst laying down on the ground ... and got dirty again!
