St Mary's Church Snettisham

Where St Mary's church stands has been a centre for Christian worship for a very long time. "Snetesham" is mentioned in the Domesday Book. It is felt there must have been an earlier church on this site since the list of Vicars of Snettisham and the ancient Saunce Bell both predate the present church, which it is said to have been built around 1340.
