The Battle For Happisburgh
Catalogue Number: PN018
Happisburgh is a small village on the north Norfolk coast, and it is getting smaller by the day. The sea, until recently, was continually washing away the cliffs, and buildings were literally falling into the sea. All of the waterside facilities are now lost, and at the time of taking this photograph together with many others, the beach looked like a second world war battle area.
The power of the sea!
