This Crown Crane is one of many photographs taken on safari in Kenya, Africa. I had watched this grey crowned crane for sometime. It appear to be preoccupied with something, and after a while I realised it was a chick, but the chick would not show itself. Then, for a brief moment adult and chick came together, and here they are.

Taken with a digital SLR using a Nikon 80 - 400mm VR lens
