Red foxes - the smallest species of the wild dog family

The Red Fox is the smallest species of the wild dog family. You either love them or you hate them.There seems to be nothing in between. I guess that if you have a chicken run you hate them.
If you are like me, besotted by the wildlife around us, you will perhaps understand how I felt when I was able to photograph this young fox cub as he ventured out from his hide. It was taken at The British wildlife Centre in Kent, where there animals are well cared for.
