Another good example of a Red Fox

These foxes are said to live for around 6 -7 years. Perhaps longer in captivity. They are mostly a nocturnal animal, being active for a fair proportion of the night and generally resting during the day, when they can be seen in their resting places. Being good climbers , they use low tree branches and flat garage roofs in city areas.

This guy was photographed at the Wildwood Wildlife Centre in Kent. An area around the bottom of the logs was baited, and then it was a case of waiting. I don’t know who was more surprised when we saw each other, him or me!
